Residential Week

With waterproofs covering us from head to toe, hoods done up tightly and a smile on our faces, Year 4 and 5 had a wonderful time at Laches Wood (rhymes with haitch not hatch, we learnt!). With activities ranging from BMXing, bouldering and bushcraft, to caving, climbing and campfire we learnt much about each other and about ourselves. Nerves were challenged, limits were pushed and clothing got pretty dirty! We were very proud of how all of our children behaved and threw themselves whole-heartedly into their activities. One group had team-games in the torrential downpour on Tuesday morning, but not a single child complained or moaned - we were having too much fun to notice!
