Thomas Russell Junior School are delighted to share that in July 2023 we were awarded the AfPE Award! 

We love our sports at TRJS. We are special in having our own swimming pool on site. We make use of this pool every week with each class having a one hour swimming lesson with Mrs Owen, as well as it being a community hub. We have many different sporting teams that take part in inter-school competitions in our local area. In total per week, we have 3 hours of PE lessons, in addition to sports clubs and games led by our Y6 play-leaders at playtimes and lunchtimes.
