Money money money!

Next week is 'My Money Week' at TRJS. In our maths lessons, we will be talking about the role money plays in our lives, including where money comes from, how to keep track of and manage our money, and being a critical consumer.

Children will learn about interest, tax, loans, debit and credit, as well as a lesson on what is gambling and what isn't.

You may like to help your child develop their skills and understanding in using money by estimating how much the shopping will come to and counting out the change given. How about talking to your child about what they might like to save money towards and how to prioritise what to spend their money on? Your support with the children's Enterprise Projects has been hugely appreciated; this was a fantastic opportunity to talk about about making the best use of the money we have.
