Y2 Parents/Carers Meeting: Tuesday 18 November @ 2.15pm

We are holding a meeting for any parent who may be considering applying for a place at TRJS for their child for September 2026, to help and support you as you make your final decision ahead of the deadline of 15 January 2026. We invite you to TRJS at 2.15pm on Tuesday 18 November. We will give a short presentation about the work of the school. There will be an opportunity for you to have a tour of the school and a chance to ask any questions. Please see the letter below for further details. 

To make an application to join us at Thomas Russell Junior School at the beginning of Year 3, or to move here at any point through Junior School, please contact the local authority to find out about our admission and appeal arrangements. We welcome visits from parents and their children before they join our school, either at one of our transition visits or an individual basis.  Please be aware that we are a very popular and heavily over-subscribed school.  We can only offer visits to prospective families if there is a realistic chance of admission in the coming term.

Please call us if you would like to discuss admission and arrange a mutually convenient time to look around our school.  We do operate a waiting list system for children living in catchment.  Our catchment area is outlined below in red:
